Marc Cuban, entrepreneurial maverick and renowned capitalist, has posted his idea to stimulate the economic recovery, as found here: Cuban's Plan
His premise is that we will begin to recover when individuals can produce a tangible service or product that is useful, profitable, and puts people to work. Cuban states:
Im a big believer that entrepreneurs will lead us out of this mess. I just needed a way to help.
To back up that talk, Cuban will fund any viable business plan that is legal and doesn't rely on advertising dollars for revenue. The caveat? You have to post your business plan online in detail. You have heard of open source code? Well, his concept plays off of that! He believes in the power of an open source business community to refine ideas until they are innovative to work."But someone could steal my idea!" Yes they can, and that is something Cuban acknowledges.
If its a good idea and worth funding, we want it replicated elsewhere. The idea is not just to help you, but to figure out how to help the economy through hard work and ingenuity.
